Whether you use wood for cooking that special meal or for your fireplace to heat your living room, we offer different types of woods for your needs.

Each customer will receive hand picked wood to meet their individual needs. All of our wood has been split and sun baked for a minimum of one year. Our main products are hardwoods and specialty fruit woods. All of our products are fully guaranteed to meet your satisfaction.

Hardwoods

Hardwoods are a favorite for those cold evenings. Our well seasoned hardwoods will:

• allow the wood to start easier
• burn continuously and more efficiently
• produce more heat and burn cleaner.

The hardwoods include oak, maple and elm.

Specialty Fruitwoods

Specialty woods have the same properties as hardwoods, but they also add an exquisite aroma to the room when they are burned. The specialty woods are popular for cooking different types of foods. The different types of woods are Apple, Cherry, Peach or Decorative White Birch. Below is a listing of their characteristics.

• Apple: Slightly sweet but denser, fruity smoke flavor; Great for cooking beef, poultry, game birds or pork
• Cherry: Slightly sweet, fruity smoke flavor; Good with all meats
• Peach: Slightly sweet, woodsy flavor; Good with all meats
• Birch: Medium hard wood with a flavour similar to maple; Good with pork and poultry
